Wolfgang & Lyn Joy Jenke conducted their first overseas evangelistic campaign in April 2000 in Talisay, Negros Occidental, Philippines. In total the Lord added to the church 33 precious souls from this campaign. That had a profound influence on both Wolfgang & Lyn Joy. At the time, they were in business in Western Australia, where they manufactured upholstered furniture. But the business lost its attraction when compared with saving souls for God’s Kingdom. From that humble beginning, their ministry has extended to much of Asia, Micronesia, Central America, the UK and Tanzania in Africa. The map indicates where they have been so far in their ministry.
By Jan 2019, jenkemission.org has been privileged to conduct 45 overseas campaigns with baptisms totalling 2170 precious souls, whom the Lord has brought into His Remnant Church. The majority of times they have worked in the Philippines, where they held 1 campaign in Lambunao, Iloilo, 1 campaign in Calatrava, Romblon, 2 campaigns in Leyte ( Inopacan and Calubian), 4 campaigns in Cebu (Capitol Central church, Lipata/Cebu, Bohol and Camotes Island), 6 campaigns in Negros Oriental (Siaton, Mabinay, Canlaon, Dauin, Bayawan and Jimalalud) and 8 campaigns in Negros Occidental (Talisay, Silay, Binalbagan, Sumag, Malingin, Binalbagan, Kabankalan and Oringao)(a total of 22 just in the Philippines). But the Lord opened doors so that they were also able to work in India (1), Mongolia (5), Micronesia (3), Belize (1), England (1), Tanzania (1), Thailand (1) and Myanmar (9). Most of these campaigns are conducted on a self-supporting basis during their annual leave or through Service Requests, with the exception of Mongolia, which has been an NAC (Northern Australian Conference) as well as AUC (Australian Union Conference) project, and therefore received financial support from them.
Jenke Mission is also organising and/or conducting "Fly & Build "Projects, of which 1 has been to Negros Oriental, Philippines and 5 have been to Taungngu, Myanmar and 1 in Theinlar Village, Myaungmya, Myanmar.
2013 has seen some changes for Jenke Mission. They have seen the need to take in Chantal Davies as their secretary, with Lyn Joy acting as treasurer and Wolfgang as chairman. Another change has been the setting up of a separate Jenke Mission bank account. The details are on the 'Get Involved' page.
